May 25, 2023 – OSF celebrated 19 new graduates of its Cohort program, Accelerating Impact, on May 25 at the Hawai'i Leadership Forum. First Lady Jaime Kanani Green shared heartfelt reflections and her gratitude to the servant leaders who have dedicated their careers to social services and improving the lives of Hawai'i families. Department of Human Services Director Cathy Betts greeted the Cohort and praised their collective work. Cohort participants presented their learnings and collaborative thinking over the past 10 weeks as they worked to strengthen the connections for Hawai'i Families. More than 50 people attended the commencement gathering in person and via Zoom. Cohort members gathered around the theme, “Strengthening Connections for Hawai‘i Families," and represented the State Department of Human Services, Department of Health, Department of Education, and nonprofit organizations including the Hawai'i Ohana Support Network, THE SHELTER, Easterseals, Family Hui Hawaii, Wai'anae Neighborhood Place, Neighborhood Place of Kona, Kaua'i Planning & Action Alliance, Lili'uokalani Trust.
