One Shared Future

Collectively, these businesses, agencies, and nonprofits represent more than 38,000 professionals in Hawai`i’s workforce. These employers now have a larger pool of change agents who are accelerating initiatives to achieve goals. Participants come from the State of Hawai‘i, nonprofits, and all four counties. Since 2017, more than 400 professionals have completed our programs. Our goal is for more organizations to benefit from these accelerating, collaborative experiences.

PARTICIPANTS

From the first session, I immediately felt the “buzz” that I get when I am around a group of action-oriented, like-minded individuals…It is rare that we get to slow down and appreciate who we are, where we are and where we would like to be.

Victoria Hanes, PsyD
Acting COO; Behavioral Health Director, West Hawaii Community Health Center

We sent 9 people from our team to take part in OSF’s Appreciating Change series. Every person expressed that the experience impacted their work—and was sometimes life-changing. We’ve seen marked changes in how these individuals engage with their teams.

Judy Mohr Peterson
Administrator, Med-QUEST Division, Department of Human Services

I’m grateful for One Shared Future because it provided us the opportunity to meet new friends and colleagues who are fighting the same battles! We got to… identify ways that we can move together toward better serving our brothers and sisters across the state.

OSF provides a safe, trusted space necessary for affecting positive change, building bridges, and removing barriers between public and private sector leadership and teams.

Being able to watch the culmination of the weeks of hard work by my staff and their peers inspired me as a supervisor to continue to support their learning as we build the next generation of integrated leaders from both the non-profit and government sectors.

Sheri Daniels, EdD

The Appreciating Change experience…changed the way I defined and valued community partnerships. …It helped me understand and appreciate the breadth and depth of my interconnectedness with community partners toward a shared purpose.
